Yard Card Wishes - Review

Another year and another number added to our age as we each celebrate our annual day of birth. This year has been quite different in celebrations for so many people because of COVID 19 and the pandemic. This was the case for my daughter when it came to deciding what she wanted to do for her husband's birthday.

Since the pandemic, driving around town - we both have seen these yard art signs advertised on street corners, in flyers, and in people's yards. She decided it would be fun to honor her husband's special day with yard art for something different.

She had originally decided to go with another company, but at the last minute bailed on her. Frantic because time was running out, she found YARD CARD WISHES, Christine and Rich Barry. My daughter was ecstatic that they were so willing to step in and make this happen for her husband on such short notice.

Earlier in the week, I had asked my daughter when they would be installing her birthday wish as I had no idea what she had been dealing with regarding the fiasco from the other company. She told me they would be here around four p.m. on Friday and sure enough, like clockwork - they were!

Being a Blogger, I wanted to write a review of the company. As they were setting up the YARD CARD WISHES, I walked out to inquire if I could write a review on their company. Both Christine and Rich were excited at the fact I would be willing to do this for them. Their reply, "no one has ever wanted to do this for us". They both thanked me for asking if I could write one and I am honored to do so.

When I asked how they got started doing this, Rich said, "my wife got furloughed when the pandemic hit, and she had to do something. We have been doing this since July and we love it!"

YARD CARD WISHES was started by another friend of Mr. and Mrs. Barry in 2018 and it has grown into the company it is today. Since July, Christine and Rich have serviced the HEB, Colleyville, Keller, and Grapevine areas with whimsical yard art signs! Christine says, "this is a family business that is fun and one that allows me to be creative in order to bring smiles to people's faces".

Once they got finished setting up the YARD CARD WISHES, I took another photograph of the birthday wish. My son-in-law will be so excited when he sees the sign from my daughter as he had no idea!!

Upon Cameron's return this morning, he was thrilled to drive up to his home after being gone for the last week with work to find this whimsical birthday message in his yard. I asked him what he thought about it and his reply, "It's pretty awesome!"
