Friendship - 365 Day Photo Challenge - Day 9

From time to time, I have the opportunity of hanging out with my friend, Glenda. She is also a Blogger. Her blog is called "The Mommies Review".

The Mommies Review focuses on many wonderful things from cooking, sharing recipes, events, facts, education, reviews, and adventures.

Glenda's top priority though for the blog is focusing on Homeschooling. One never knows what she might share for the day. I enjoy following her blog and seeing the amazing adventures she and her family have taken as a Homeschool parent, not to mention all of the educational values she shares with her audience (young and old alike, seasoned Homeschoolers and the new ones just getting started).

From time to time, I have also been able to contribute art and craft projects for her blog that Homeschoolers can do, as well as introducing genealogy to her younger audiences. It definitely has been an amazing journey to be able to share my own personal passions with others.

I met Glenda several years ago when I used to participate in Craft Shows. We have been friends ever since. Her son, Charlie, and I have become very good friends over the years...almost like an adopted son!

On our way back to end our day, I remembered that another friend had told me about this place called, "The Hang Out". It was near where Glenda and Charlie live, so we stopped by there for a quick visit. (I'll share more about that in the upcoming days on my blog).

365 Photo of the Day Challenge - Day 7

The challenge is to post at least one photograph per day for the year. Today, I have had many amazing photo ops with my grandson. 

The first was him eating a boiled egg. He looked at it. Picked it up. Laid it back down. Then put it in his mouth. (I didn't realize the egg wasn't fully boiled and about that time, yolk started running down his little arms). He had it all over him but wasn't about to let Nonnie clean it up or take the egg away. It was quite funny, to say the least...

Now he has been washed up, clothes changed, played for a bit, and now is resting alongside Koda. 

This PRECIOUS grandson of mine...!

365PhotoadayChallenge - Day 6

The challenge is to post at least one photograph per day for the year. Here's mine today. 

I have been tracing my 10-month-old grandson's hands with mine since we brought him home from the hospital. My hope is to add them to his journal of memories I am creating for him in hopes he will cherish them for a lifetime and possibly pass them down to his family in my memory. 

Yes, the drawing might be a little rough around the edges, but it is becoming easier and easier to trace his little hands. With this one, he sat there and was intrigued by what I was doing. I love my grandson very much!! <#

January 4 - 365photochallenge

It is a new year and a new day for creativity in my craft room. After taking off the last couple of months from blogging so I could focus on Christmas crafting projects I had on my plate, I have decided to do a 365-day photography challenge after reading about it from my FB friend Martha DeMeo and Glenda Cates. 

The challenge is to post at least one photograph per day for the year. Well, I am a little late to the party - but I have taken photos each day since January 1, 2021. Maybe I can play catch up! {laughing out loud}

Today's photo consists of a photo of my 'new' desk mat that I received for Christmas. Look at that...my desk is even cleaned off! That is a feat within itself. ONLY because when I am crafting, I am oblivious to the mess I create around me... (I am doing the happy dance since I am all caught up with crafting projects for the time being).

I was so excited to have received this Zerro Self Healing Cutting Mat. Although the old one was only 8 years old, it still has life in it and I will continue to use it on the desk behind me. Thank you, family, for my new self-healing cutting mat!!!

I am off to write a review on my new, clean Zerro Self Health Cutting Mat!
