Here are my ten small (little) things in life I am grateful for today.
One - living, breathing people around me
Two - memories that I am able to remember when a trigger sets an emotion in motion
Three - friends and family
Four - my ability to think for me, do for me and be me. My ability to believe.
Five - spending time with my grandson, Caiden
Six - watching our furbaby roll around in the grass when he is out basking in the heat of the sun
Seven - being able to hear the birds sing in the backyard and watching them on the bird feeder
Eight - being able to eat when the doctor's told me I may never eat again back in 2016
Nine - giving myself GRACE
Ten - life itself

ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThe little things can be the big things. I love watching the birds in my yard, too. Thanks for joining us again! :-)
ReplyDeleteyou are very welcome and thank you!
DeleteWell expressed Ten Things...
ReplyDeleteI can appreciate what you mean in your introduction, about sometimes it's more difficult than others... the encouraging and supportive atmosphere that Kristi and the other maintain totally helps make it less of a chore knowing that the simple act of participating is beneficial.
(Plus! The Book of Secret Rules (aka the Secret Book of Rules) has SR 1.3 that clearly establishes the propriety of using the face of approaching the end of a list of thank-fulls are an item to be part of that list!)
Have a good week.
hello again Clark!
DeleteThank you for reading and commenting. So far my week has been a good one. It has been raining here in the Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas area now since Sunday. It has triggered the Asthma once again. (I should live in a bubble) LOL
Yes, we should end our list of Thank you's with the thank-fulls - sometimes, I think they get lost in the muck of the world. I'm glad this group is here as it really makes one think about what they truly are thankful for.
Blessings,
Beautiful things to be grateful for and to always remember.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat! How are you?
DeleteOh, my goodness, Nancy, we started out TToT's the same way! We ARE a lot alike! I love #9. Why are we always so hard on ourselves?
ReplyDeleteI am always my worst enemy, critic, confidant or whatever! Then on the other hand, I do pat myself on the back once in awhile...
DeleteHope you are having a great week!?
I thought I had commented already, but I had blogger eat a comment I made on another blog, so maybe it happened more than once. Anyway, glad you linked up again! Friends, family, life--all good things! :-)
