Day 3 The Color of the Day is Orange

It is day three in the Color of the Day Challenge hosted by The Mommies Review. Today's color is ORANGE. 

What is the first thing that pops in your head when you think of orange? Maybe a Dream sickles or a glass of OJ (orange juice) that would be my guess. It might have even been an actual orange. 

Orange is one of my all-time favorite colors. I do not know why, but I like it very much. No, not the bright orange - but the one that is kind of matte looking. I like wearing orange blouses and shirts. 

Here is a photo of me in a newly purchased summer blouse I bought a couple of weeks ago. I am sitting in my crafting room in this picture. 

A few years back, I wanted the Rachel Ray Orange Cookware set. I received them for Christmas. I was in love...

That same year, I also got the cooking utensils. That is right, in orange. There is not a day that goes by that I am not reaching for one of these items to cook with. 

They are very sturdy and last a long time. I also have a whisk that belongs to this set but did not pull it out to take the picture. 

If I had my druthers, I would have my entire kitchen set up in Orange with Rachel Ray's items. I have not ever been disappointed with any of her products. 

In 2015, for my birthday my son bought me an orange ottoman. The top of it lifts to store blankets or other items on the inside of it. The lid can be flipped over to set drinks or other things on it. I use it daily too

  

Yes, Orange is my favorite color. Looking around the living room (which is where I am sitting right now since tweaking my back on Monday) - I see several things that are Orange. 

My husband has a pair of tennis shoes that are camoed out with orange accents. Yes, those are his shoes! I cannot bend over to straighten them out with the tweaked back. (drives me batty seeing them like this, but it is okay). 

I also have created many beautiful things in my crafting room that are in orange. I have painted papers in orange.

I have also made flowers, layered embellishments, and cards in orange. 

Orange is fun! Orange is the color of the day. What do you see that is orange?
