Thinking about today's Color of the Day, it is very present in my life. Through crafting. Through things around my house. Through Genealogy. Through our Furbabies.
From time to time I have crafted things in black. Some of the things I have created are Pocket Letters, Glue Book pages, Journal pages, Tags for Journals, various Die Cuts using my Sizzix Big Kick, Black flowers, and Black bows.

Some of the items I have used that are black look like this: black eyelash fibers, black acrylic paint, black ribbon, black buttons and black paper too. There are many things in black that I use that are not mentioned here.
When I am crafting, the
paper sizes I like to use are 8 1/2 x 11 and 12 x 12. Then there are all the
scrap remnants left over from the different projects. I do not throw any of it
away. Those smaller pieces can be used for tuck spots, fillers, tags, and all
sorts of things.
I even have black and white photographs.

My grand furbaby is also black. She is my youngest daughter's dog. Her name is Kaiah.
Black is beautiful...

I like your black and white bow. If we still had our fabric shop, I would have every color of fabric listed on this challenge. 🤣
ReplyDeleteYes, I am afraid I probably do in all of my ribbon tubs. LOL I really NEED to get back to the crafting happy place. It has been extremely difficult for me to find that 'happy' again since all the emotional stuff I endured last year. Definitely sucked the life out of for sure...but time is healing my heart - and I keep pushing myself to 'FIND THAT PLACE ONCE AGAIN!"
