day 24 The Color of the Day is Grey

It is day 24 in the Color of the Day Challenge. The color is Grey. No, 'not' Gray - but Grey. I have always wondered what the difference between the two was. With today's color, I thought I would research this a bit further.

According to the World Wide Web, 'Grey' is more commonly used in the UK, Ireland, and other places that use British English, although grey is also considered correct. 'Gray' is the more popular spelling in America and countries which use American spelling.

I find this rather amusing because being a crafter, I use Grey/Gray a great deal in my crafts. I live in America and I see it more like Grey versus Gray! This is making my head hurt! How do you see it? Is it Grey or is it Gray? 

Either way, I have Grey (the way the Color of the Day Challenge has it listed) in my craft room all over the place. I have Grey embellishments. Grey ribbons. Grey paint. Grey paper. Grey scissors by Fiskars. Grey pens and pencils. I even have Grey/Gray markers. (I had that piece of paper sitting near me while I was typing this). I had to spruce the post up with color! Laughing out loud...

I can find all kinds of crafting supplies in Grey or Gray on Amazon. It is my go-to one-stop-shop for all my crafting needs because I am an Affiliate and a Customer. 

In my crafting room, I also have a Swiss Miss canister. At one time, it held Hot Chocolate packets. If anyone knows me, they know I love Hot Chocolate. I could drink it every day of the year! (I am not a coffee drinker at all). I use it to hold trinkets and miscellaneous things I pick up along the way to use in my crafting as embellishments, mixed media or altered art projects. 

I have created many things in Grey or Gray. Crafts such as Artist Trading Cards (ATC), and Loaded Envelopes. I have even crafted Tags and Scrapbook layouts in this color. What kind of things do you like to craft in Grey or Gray? Will it be an altered art project or even a mixed media one? What about a tag or a card? It could even be a picture that you draw, color, or paint. Whatever you decided, it would put a smile on my face to see what you create.
