We have had a very heavy large deer blanket on our bed that we have used now for some time. I decided with the weather starting to change due to Spring is upon us, it was time for something new!
I didn't want to drop a bundle of money right now with everything going on in our world. Not to mention my health stuff and recent hospitalization.
I browsed Amazon for something that was pretty, simple and would get the job done. I settled on the

The cost was reasonable and so far, has been worth the purchase. It arrived Sunday night in a small box. My husband commented the bedspread is in that? Yes indeed. It was wound up tightly inside of a plastic bag. I know, we couldn't get it back in the package the way it arrived. Funny how that works...like putting a square peg in a round hole! LOL
The bed looks amazing with the new lightweight Quilt Coverlet. It will suffice for now. Later in the year, I plan on buying another one that will take us through the winter months. I want pretty. I want window treatments. I want the pillow shames and the dust ruffles. Yes, I'll be dropping a pretty penny on my next comforter set!
